  1. I enjoyed your blog! You are truely an angel for caring for your grandmother when she was sick. I am so sorry for your family’s loss! I see Dementia all the time in my job but I am always over joyed when a family member steps up and takes care of their eldery relative, especially because it is so hard. You should consider continuing your blog!

    • Thank you. She was such a lovely person. Now I have the pleasure of living with my other grandmother, who is almost 93. How blessed am I to be able to live with and care for both my grandmothers?!

I will make an attempt to keep writing. 🙂

  2. I saw your video on YouTube… And I was moved to tears because I thought of how painful it must be for you (though I’m not the sensitive type). That video gave me more hope in humanity…

  4. Hi, somehow by way of facebook, i watched your video on your grandmother. You are an amazing and loving granddaughter for sure and you will be blessed by the love you had for your Gran. My Mom has dementia, was diagnosed in 2009 and is stage 5 of the disease. She is in a nursing home; but lived with me for almost a year.
I am hurrying now to visit with her, as she is 90 mins. away or so. I wanted to thank you for your beautiful video and blogs about your grandmother. If you or your own mom can share anything with me, I would so appreciate it. May God bless you and your family always. Thank you, Diane honan

  5. I am very touched by you taking care of your grandmother. I am currently a Gerontology student at Western Oregon University and I have a few questions for you. I was hoping maybe you could e-mail me? My questions are mainly about you and not about your grandmother. I am writing a term paper on what it’s like to care for someone with dementia and the effects it has on you as the caregiver. Would you be interested in answering those questions for me? Please e-mail me, I left my contact info!

  6. Hi there! I wanted to know if you would be able to answer a question about your blog! My name is Heather and my email is Lifesabanquet1(at)gmail(dot)com 🙂
